Dear sea, blue-deep
alkali drink, blessed
sea, silk-lined body
that is not body but
a bowl, a basin filled
with foaming, salty milk
and shoreline, heaving
at your tresses, adhesive
soles of sunlight to
the shadows of your feet;
the hearts of men unfastened
struck by fragments of
your beauty, blue-deep,
blessed sea.
